Description

We are recruiting for a Retail Analyst to join our Retail Operations team based at Aurum House in Leicester.

The Department acts as a focal point, providing a link between Aurum House, the Retail Network, other departments and our suppliers. The pace is fast moving and dynamic, with a need to achieve production and analysis of high volume, accurate information

You will provide accurate, timely production and analysis of essential management information and support to our Retail Network & Support Functions.  You will have an excellent knowledge of relevant IT systems and an in-depth business awareness is required to exceed the expectations of our customers.

 

Responsibilites:

  • Setting and managing the store controllable costs budgets, including the authorisation of invoices
  • To liaise with the senior management and field teams to agree and communicate store sales targets
  • Calculation of monthly margin and product targets
  • Store brand analysis and budget maintenance for key watch / jewellery brands
  • To liaise with the Brilliance Incentive Manager and various brands to provide regular incentive analysis
  • Management of the Store Reporting Hub
  • Production, development and automation of daily KPI reports
  • KPI and MI reporting, providing analysis and insight for decision support
  • Analyse internal sales data and provide early identification of issues/opportunities based on performance trends to enable scenario based action plans
  • Continual improvement - ensure reports are maintained, relevant, timely, and in line with latest business developments, providing insight & decision support
  • Key support for Retail Director and Senior Team ensuring timely, accurate and insightful analysis to provide more informed trading decisions and support key projects/initiatives
  • Report development and support for various departments across the business
  • To have a global awareness of the business and where areas of remit fit within it
