Carving your career path in Aurum

Following your induction to the Company there are plenty of opportunities to develop within Aurum...

Retail Career Journey

Aurum are proud to have been awarded with not only a training award for our sales training, but also Gold Investors in People status, which represents the level of investment that we put into you throughout your career with us. We have a large learning and development team in Leicester, London and field based all over the UK. They are always working hard to design new, innovative and industry leading programmes to keep you informed, skilled and increasing your potential.
Working for one of our showrooms provides you with a fantastic platform to build your career, with many learning opportunities along the way.
Your manager will set you up with your own personal development plan, and your own Learning and Development Business Partner will then be on hand to help you to access the right courses, visits and learning tools available to you.

During your first 3 months you will work your way through our Retail Induction e-learning programme which will prepare you for your classroom learning. These modules cover the history of Aurum and our Brands and an introduction to products as well as systems and procedures.

You will have the opportunity to attend a range of courses from sales training, cultural training, advanced selling courses, and product training. Once you have worked with us for 12 months you can request to be assessed in order to undertake a Jewellery Diploma by undergoing the National Association of Goldsmiths Jewellery Education Training (JET 1 & 2). We also work very closely with our brand partners, to name but a few; Breitling, Tag Heuer, Rolex and Patek Phillipe to ensure you are trained to the highest standard to sell these prestigious timepieces.

If you want to progress into a management role, there are a number of routes to help you on your learning journey. Our management development programmes take top sales talent into junior management roles, upskill junior managers in all areas of leadership, and finally prepare the best of the best in our Deputy Manger estate to take on their first Showroom Manager opportunity.
